Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am the sales Apprentice so what I do is I work on the shopfloor mostly serving customers, helping with inquiries and stock rotating. Also I do training for an hour a week too.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the learning process and learning both of and off the job. My favourite part is building rapport with local customers and knowing that their shopping experience is being fulfilled.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed alot more confidence with people's skills as well as working more under pressure.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is structured clearly with modules and performance reviews which are easily to navigate online. The meetings with my apprenticeship tutor are always helpful and show where I need to improve and what I've done well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive sufficient support and am allocated an hour a week to my training.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

By knowing and understanding the basics, background knowledge and other retail orientated knowledge, my role is alot more consolidated than those who haven't been down the apprenticeship route as I can understand the reasons why we do what we do.

Why?
The knowledge you gain from the apprenticeship I'll help you through life as well as my tutor being an amazing person to gain knowledge from and you get alot of support from them throughout the apprenticeship
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Superdrug?
Don't let difficult targets pull down your self esteem, as long as you try your best anythings possible!
