Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role consists of planning and scheduling projects and ensuring that projects meet their deadlines and milestones. On a day to day basis I am taking part in small tasks and shadowing current employees at Thames Water.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme as it is changing everyday and I am constantly learning new things.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have a strengthened on my excel skills and have gained a good understanding of projects and how to use different systems such as P6 and PowerBi. Additionally, I have gained a simple understanding of scheduling and the planning of a project.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well structured and I have a plan for the rest of my apprenticeship concerning my placements and learning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer and all the employees in the business as well. I can ask any questions and they are always answered to the best of their ability.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider is always available if I need help or need to ask a question about anything. The are very supportive and help me along my journey.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am able to put what learn into practical situations which will help me be better equipped after my apprenticeship.

There are several networks that people can join through the company, as well as courses and events that are put on throughout the years to help with networking and meeting other colleagues.
