Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Running the store, cash handling, key holding responsibilities.
Working stock, customer service.
Keeping the store legal and ensuring all safety measures are ashered to.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed using the apprenticeship as an opportunity to dig dipper and learn things about the company and retail as a whole. I found this very useful and was able to use this knowledge in my day to day work.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Development of delegation skills, with feedback and follow up.
Training of new colleagues, finding the best way of learning/teacher.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My trainer was amazing, and very knowledgeable. The programme was quite varied, and sometimes asked for information that I would not have access to.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

This was more difficult to achieve. As Store Managers didn't value the apprenticeship and would not give me the time to complete. A lot of the work was completed in my own time.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My trainer was amazing.
She was always available to talk to and I found this a great help
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel it gave me more confidence and knowledge to perform my role to a higher standard.
