Overall, how would you describe your experience at Lidl?
It has been really positive, the onboarding process was really engaging and supportive. My management are really supportive and constantly encourage me to develop myself within my role and the company. I could not have asked for a better place to start my career!!
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I am involved in finding and developing sites for new stores. I deal with agents, lawyers, architects and engineers as well as our internal construction management team, facilities team and sales team. I spent most days out on site or in the car site searching. The role is very flexible with work from home opportunities. I enjoy getting to meet lots of new people and not being tied to a desk.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I am given the opportunity to help on major projects as well as have my own projects which I am supported in.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

I feel I am paid very generously and am given a good amount of annual leave. I have a fully expensed company car - which is an incredible benefit!! I am also given access to lots of learning and development opportunities and volunteer days which are a great benefit. We also receive a generous pension scheme and other benefits such a cycle to work, free flu jabs and 24 hour GP access.
