Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Daily scrum stand-ups for projects using Agile methodology. Communicating with team members on development tickets. Responsible for multiple .NET applications, as well as the planning and documentation along with them. Use of C# .NET, React, Ruby. JavaScript.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

Over my placement I was a key developer of a duo on the team's main large scale project, giving me an opportunity to step up and take responsibility.
I was also responsible for the process of hiring the intern for the next year.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Company culture and atmosphere was incredibly warming, I was treated like a full time employee and as an equal, as well as given the responsibilities and opportunities that a full time employee would receive.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

My placement year with Disney is something I will never forget, it truly feels like a once in a life time experience. The atmosphere of the team I have been a part of has been incredibly unique and I can only hope to have a career that matches it.
