I am a property surveyor that deals with commercial and residential properties on behalf of the council.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoyed the workshops which were both fun and informative. I felt extremely supported by my coach which has helped to make the programme both enjoyable and rewarding.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot of new skills through the apprenticeship which I now utilise within my role. This has also helped me develop my understanding of operational management which will hopefully further my career.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is structured so that it is easy to hit targets and understand what needs to be completed. The regular catch ups I have had with my coach has helped to keep me on track and complete all the necessary work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Due to changes in management i received very little support but this was understood by my coach who has offered the support I needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have received support whenever I have needed it and found it very easy to reach out when I needed assistance.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it has been very beneficial to my role and has helped me to prepare myself to take further steps in pushing my career forward.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

As I am part of RICS there are several networking events that I attend. As a team we socialise on a regular basis.

They have been extremely supportive and helped me to progress through my qualification. They are always on hand when I need assistance and have given me the confidence to complete the qualification.

Make sure you engage with the tutors and coaches to get the most out of the course.
