Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
This varies and is dependant what time around the month/quarter. Overall I update the Go To Market deck and ensure all features released have had their 1 pager written, create internal/external communication, update portal page with new assets, attend various meetings
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I did enjoy my apprenticeship- the only downside which is not the companies fault was working in isolation. I work from home as the nearest office is a few hours away, and on my salary traveling per week to work in an office was not an option. I would travel in and the expenses paid for IF there was an occasion, or workshops (sometimes)

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt a lot. Creating value pages, developing on my content writing, bringing the right people together for projects.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
My programme was structured well, organised. However my tutor was amazing. Very supportive. I would suggest that the course be looked at more in detail when aligning it to a role and have the manager more involved. Though i was given the time to dedicate to my apprenticeship, it would have been great if my manager was involved, for insights, help and support
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Not as much as i required. The wider company was fantastic, a group was set up and we had monthly meetings. I think when doing an apprenticeship a process should be set up/introduced for managers to be involved/participate/aware of what the student/person is learning/covering.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
My tutor was the best. He had weekly bitesize meetings covering topics/FAQs with his pupils as a whole (not just from my company) and met with us monthly or more if required to check our progress, help us through the experience, guide and mentor us If it wasn't for him, I don't believe I would have completed the course.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
What i was learning was difficult to put into practise with my role. It why I believe more research should be done, and why managers should be involved with the course. What I was learning on my course didn't sync with my role at all. I couldn't connect the two, so it felt like I was doing two totally separate things, which was mentally exhausting.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are plenty of opportunities. However my participation with them is very low given how far I live from any office/other employees. I engaged with any online activities happening, but not as many as i didn't want to spend any more time staring at a screen than I had to
