Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Day to day, I look at the performance of the current media mix and how effectively it generates MQLs for Sage Intacct. I am responsible for updating key documents which are used to make informed strategic decisions. I attend calls with internal stakeholders and the media agency on a daily basis in order to improve performance and share feedback.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
In short yes - I have had a variety of tasks and responsibilities which I have led on during my internship which have made me feel like I am playing an important role in achieving the organisation's goals.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
I have developed a strong understanding in key platforms such as SA360, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, and DV360 which we use for paid advertising, as well as Salesforce which is a CRM system.
Using Excel on a daily basis has significantly improved my ability to use this platform as I am now confident with a variety of shortcuts and formulas.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
My manager has been very supportive during my role and has pushed me to develop my skills in areas that I was less confident in before I joined Sage. Other colleagues have been extremely supportive in helping me understand the wider business and how my role fits into the broader picture.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
I have really enjoyed working at Sage due to the culture. Whilst this is a fast-paced environment, this is something that I enjoy working in and personally believe I perform well under.
