Dental nursing - supporting clinican and providing chair side support to patient, completing dental charting and records, mixing materials and asssiting during treatment, ensuring that clincial area is kept clean and sterile

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme is really enjoyable. The work load is spread so that it can't really build up to too much and become overwhelming.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, my confidence with dealing with patient has improved. Learnt new skills like the computer system and learning all about the dental anatomy

How well organised/structured is your programme?

As said previously, the work load is spread so that it doesn't get too much. There is 1 webinar session a week that covers part of the unit that we are on

My assessor is always there to answer any questions. If i am struggling with any work, need a bit of support or just need advice or a piece of work sending, she'll always get back to me as quick as she can.
