Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

I was the Licensing Sales intern on the games team. My main roles included bug fixing, asset approving and assisting in the creation of HTML5 games.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was giving the lead on a project which involved the creation of a HTML5 game from start to finish, so this was excellent in helping me develop my leadership skills.

My line manager was fantastic and very understanding throughout the entire internship program. The rest of the team were very welcoming and understanding, even helping me develop skills in other areas of the games industry.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

The company culture and atmosphere were so calm and friendly. Everyone throughout the company were very welcoming and the company puts on lots of events throughout the year, including screenings and character meet and greets!
