At the moment I am still in a previous position which consists of managing incidents assigned to my team and keeping services running while following an SLA.
I am soon to be transferred to my new role that will cover maintenance and support of Azure infrastructure across multiple client sites.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Outside of the issue with not getting imto my new role until a few months into the apprenticeship, I have had a great time gaining a new understanding of cloud computing and the ways it can be integrated into a business.
The staff and fellow apprentices are really friendly and supportive, which helps me feel more comfortable and in the right place.

I have gained an understanding of Azure Cloud and Office 365 that I did not have before, with hands on experience of the management software and breakdowns of all the things it is capable of.
I have also developed further teamwork skills and communication that assist in working with my own and other teams.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The main issue I've faced with the programme is getting into a role that suits the field that I was studdying and allows me to gain experience.
Outside of that, I have continued with my assigned courses and work that has developed my theoretical knowledge and all I need now is the in work experience to apply what I have learned.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

The members of the team I speak/report to are very supportive and help me with any issues I have to the best of their abilities.
I can always go to them for assistance, clarification or just to chat about things without any fear of being ignored or pushed away.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The person who is assigned to support me from Bud arranges meetings every month or so to discuss how things are going and listen to any issues I have.
They are happy to provide guidance and re-arrange modules if I am currently not in a position to progress the work without being in the correct role.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Throughout the apprenticeship so far, I have gained knowledge of network and cloud infrastructure that has assisted me in feeling more confident in approaching my new role and gaining a solid foundation to the skills I will learn in the future.
