Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I learn the ropes to managing the store while completing daily activities alongside the other store assistants. I chip in and help out on the managment activities while being shadowed and shown.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy being in a work place with friendly colleagues and earning whilst learning. I get the experience of actually working instead of being in a classroom hearing about it.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed both self confidence and skills while also working in a team and at different points of the day with others. I have also learnt how to effectively communicate to be the most efficient for the store.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very structured and there is a good plan for what I'm going to be developing in over a set oeriod of time.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
They are very flexible with personal life and are always there to support me if I need it. All I have to do is ask and they will do the best to help me out.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider meets with me frequently over a set amount of time. They ask how my apprenticeship is going and if i need any help with it. They as how my work life is and if i need any support with that as well. If I did have any issues they would be more than willing to help me find a solution.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

You learn about a lot of different ways retailers deal with issue and keep the work place safe which helps give you another perspective on things and you can always bring these into your every day work life if you feel like it would make a positive effect.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are different events throught out the year (e.g.5 aside football tornament)

It's a good and enjoyable place to work where the pay is good and the staff are friendly. They are also very flexible with hours to suit you.
