There are many aspects to cyber security and fortunately over 4 years I will get moved into each team for as much experience as possible. My current role is End point security and this involves using AV programmes to stop threat actors reaching our clients

So far some of the things I have done on study days have been helpful however I would say doing the actual job itself is much more rewarding in terms of gaining insight and knowledge

I would say speak with as many people as possible in your company no matter what role you are doing. This gives you a great network of people who you may be able to support you in the future!
