In my second year, so far I have really enjoyed the programme and love where I work.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

After coming straight from secondary school, I have excelled quickly and enhanced my account management, communication and presenting skills. I have been given opportunities to grow and experience different areas of the business which has been super engaging! If I would like to seek out different opportunities to build skill set, I feel comfortable to do so by discussing with my manager and colleagues.

Yes, there is lots of support available from the emerging talent HR team and from my team internally.

I receive satisfactory support from the university, with 121 support available. This is improving with feedback we have given to our HR team at Samsung.

I enjoy my day to day job as well as receive lots of support. I also feel that my career direction is taken into consideration.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Samsung Electronics?
Research the company and its core values as well as research the role you are applying for in depth. A good way to research is to reach out to current apprentices, it’s great to hear from real life experiences.
