Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am the Head of Service Management. This role is managing people, services, products and tools. It requires a lot of Stakeholder engagement and support of various cross functional teams. My primary responsibility is to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It's very informative. I enjoy how it relates so well to my role. It's a great tool to enhance my ability as a manager and effective leader

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed Project Management, Stakeholder Engagement, Emotional Intelligence and Communication. I have also had the opportunity to focus on Personal Development and Conflict resolution.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I have had some challenges with this but not through the fault of the provider. I have moved roles and organisations due to redundancy. It's only from month 7/8 that my current provider took me on. Since then, excellent format and structure.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Excellent, a lot of avenues of support. Not just manager but other supportng roles.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A massive amount. My work coach is incredible and always on hand to provide guidance and support as needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it's extremely transferrable. I use the knowledge skills and behaviours every day in some capacity. I reference it in existing work being completed.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I chair the Armed Forces Employee Resource Group and its great to be involved and have support in something I am extremely proud and passionate about.
