In my last rotation I was mainly responsible for maintaining and continuously improving on key reporting for our finance leadership team.

I enjoy my programme since we receive a lot of support and guidance from line management

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes; I developed my skills in Power BI and Power Query as well as the Power Automate platform

Since it was new when I started it was less structured but I believe it has become more structured and organised through the years.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is extremely supportive and is always ready to provide the right advice and guidance for me to achieve my career goals.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive satisfactory support from my training provider for my qualifications but it is overall very self-driven and also extremely dependent on what kind of tutor you are assigned for each class.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me understand my day to day activities and the big picture so that I can gain some insights I wouldn't have been able to see before. However, I do think that the qualification content is extremely theoretical and does not necessarily get applied to what I do at work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer, participate in sports and network.

Would you recommend Siemens Healthineers to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because of the people - although the general atmosphere is maybe less frilly (and more blunt) than my previous experiences I think that many people in the company are super straightforward and think of you as a real person and friend. They are always willing to support you with anything.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Siemens Healthineers?
Be yourself in interviews.
