My role involves the usual tasks of a store assistant with additional supervisory responsibilities. These tasks include:
• Ordering products
• Monitoring store specific metrics and KPIs
• Supervising the learning and development of staff in store
• Resolving various customer issues that a store assistant would not otherwise be able to

4/5
I received a good amount of support from my employer. They helped substantially with my training and gave me plenty of time to complete my apprenticeship tasks and qualifications.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider has been very involved with helping my achieve my qualifications. Ive never felt as though I wasnt receiving an appropriate amount of support or that I was struggling with my work due to a lack of interest on the part of the trainers. Overall theyve been very supportive.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes, Aldi holds some employee events semi-regularly for people who are interested. I think they could maybe do more to promote these events and increase the amount activities that they offer.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Aldi to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Aldi is a very tough place to work, however for people who are willing to put in the effort working here can be a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aldi?
I would strongly advise that anyone looking to work at Aldi do their research before applying. Theres a lot of people who will apply to work here who will then quit after a few weeks because they werent ready for how intense it can get. Aldi if tough but fair so be prepared.
