Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am in a rotational role so i get to experience a new aspect of the data team every 3-6 months depending on my university load.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy the work a lot, the university i do not enjoy as much however most of my issues with the university have been resolved for the new cohorts,

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
My experience is that the programme was not very structures, however again this has been resolved for the new cohorts.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
The best support possible, everyone at work is extremely sympathetic to the stress of being a degree apprentice and i can have as much time i need away from work to focus on university.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The university does not provide as much support as i would like as i had a tutor who would leave my messages on seen rather than reply, certain lecturers would post unclear assignments and then complain when everyone was asking them to clarify.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Certain aspects are very helpful however as it is quite a broad degree the majority of my modules did not relate to my role at all, and what did relate to my role it sometimes felt as though i had more experience with the subject than they did.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Numerous social activities, holidays etc.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend JLR to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Very very good salary and though the university and early careers do not always provide as much support as I would like, my team and the early careers lead in my team have been incredibly supportive and made sure that i have any help i need.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
Make sure that you do not focus on your love on cars in your interview, focus on the role
