Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

The first few months involved training on how the company's products functioned and how my team managed the projects that came in. - I now work on different projects that have come from the business, involving changes or new requirements. The aim is to find the best way to solve these requests and break them down into more technical parts which will be passed to the developers to implement. This cycle will continue until the end result is reached and ready to present to the business.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

The first month where more about training but when I understood how things worked I started getting more responsibilities such as becoming PM for some projects.

I have learn many things during my placement, from how a business works in terms of team work, the importance of respect and having the best attitude to the more detailed and technical aspects such as breaking down projects or even API's.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

Everyone has been very nice and respectful to me in NBCUniversal, it has made my time with the company enjoyable and the memory I will have of it will always be as a very welcoming and accepting team.
