Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In my role i have a wide range of tasks, I don't just have one responsibility within my department but rather tackle anything that comes my way. This work ranges from CAD, benchmarking, investigations and much more.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am enjoying the programme very much, the combination of work and university is tough but very rewarding. It is also nice to have a break from work life with the studying at university.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt new skills from this apprenticeship which are engineering specific such as CAD. I have also developed many existing skills such as communication and teamwork.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is well structured, all of the university work is scheduled well in advance so you know what's coming. There are regular reviews to check how i am getting on and if i need any support.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Support from employer is excellent, always someone to speak to and get advice from. People at work are very understanding that university requires a large amount of time and effort.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Support from the university is generally good and if i am having any issues there is always someone to speak to.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I believe that the qualification definitely helps to perform better in my role, it covers a wide range of subjects. Therefore some subjects help me in my role and others don't but they may be useful at a later point in my career.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes there are loads of extra curricular activities to get involved in, there are groups for loads of activities similar to university societies. I receive loads of invites to get involved in new activities.
