Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
The apprenticeship provides a rotational Business Management Apprenticeship, which allows all apprentices to transition to a new department every six months. This structure ensures that apprentices gain diverse exposure and insights on a daily basis throughout the programme, thereby offering comprehensive understanding of the entire organisation. With a final 18 month rotation to further specialise in your own chosen area of the business.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I love the program, I have made great friends with apprentices from my year and other years whilst fully involving myself in the great Visa culture where everyone is so welcoming. Their flexibility is such a standout.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
There are many skills that doing this apprenticeship has developed mainly in terms of communication skills where you learn to speak to customers in formal manners. Also I have developed great presentation skills during the period. As well as simpler skills like how to use excel and how to format emails correctly.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The program is very well structured where you have a Line manager for your rotation and also an apprentice manager meaning that if you ever feel worried or have issues there is always someone to go to. You are also assigned a buddy who you can go to at anytime.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
The employer gives a great amount of support with lots of training and ways to improve yourself and your career also giving you a study day helps you switch off from normal work and focus on your Degree as this is also important to them.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Corndel is a great training provided with monthly calls with your Personal Development Coach who can answer all your questions and help you with any queries you have on top of that there workshops are highly informative and interactive.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
As such a big company there are so many different things to get involved in you just have to be curious and ask questions and keep and eye out for all the events.
