Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Programme is well organised and structured, however I don’t think there is enough study time provided which is 6 hours. 1.5 hours is spent watching weekly webinars also you are only left with 4.5 hours. Majority of other time is spent in the surgery so you are expected to study in your own time, which can be difficult. The theory work assists you to gain a better understanding in surgery, so I think some should be complete before. There should be more allocated time to study.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very supportive, however I do feel that I am just benefiting them operationally and not progressing as quickly with my study. My study time is allocated, but can be changed at short notice or interrupted.
