My role involves:
Searching company pipelines to find relevant projects
approaching potential leads and opportunities through email and linkedin
supporting the training team by leading the induction process for new colleagues
Attending events/conferences to raise brand awareness and find new leads.

Yes, many of my tasks were independent and I was encouraged to use my initiative when starting a new project.

yes, this placement has allowed me to develop clear communication skills, written and verbal, as well as improve my presentation skills.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
A lot. The first week consisted of induction with the other placements then once I started my role I was assigned a buddy. I had regular touchpoints with my buddy throughout the year where I could ask for support and guidance on any of my projects. all the members of the team were very friendly and offered support when needed.

the culture was very friendly and encouraging. if there are certain things you want to learn or get involved with, you just had to ask.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I extremely enjoyed my placement with Pfizer, it gave me a great insight into what its like to work within the pharmaceutical industry and provided me with many opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues throughout the business.
