Yes - once I was taught how to use certain programmes or develop pieces, I was trusted to go through the process myself. I was free to ask questions and make mistakes.
I was also trusted with contributing to conversations between senior leaders quite early on as my insight was appreciated.

- developed my people skills, I've networked so much and have learnt how to speak appropriately
- learnt the approval process

I gained a close relationship with my manager who assured me early on that my purpose in the company was to learn so no question was silly (and I asked a lot of questions).
I was given a 'buddy' for the first couple months who would check in every week to see how I was doing more personally.

Even though I worked mostly from home, the company made sure to schedule fun events that you can get involved with. Everyone is so nice and appreciates/recognises the work you do.
There are opportunities to get involved in diversity initiatives and volunteering, which is actually encouraged.
I attended an in-person event so got to meet my colleagues which was so much fun

I've loved it. Towards the end (due to less restrictions) I've been able to attend in-person events and be with my colleagues more casually which was a highlight of my placement.
Company culture and benefits made me excited for a future of work which I was previously dubious about.

Yes
