Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role includes reviewing the performance of the site on a day to day basis, keeping track of the inter-company invoices, submitting capital requests for signage and setting up new materials that are brought in or assembled.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy my programme to a great extent there are many activities for us apprentices to take part in and team build. The apprentice programme here is very inclusive as you feel like you are really making an impact on the business.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned a lot about using Excel effectively and report building on PowerBi. I have learned how to work in a team a and be able to ask help if needed from others or speak up if I spot an inaccuracy.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The structure is good where it allows for a free day to study from home or go to college. When I am at home I always have enough resources to keep me busy throughout the day with online lessons which are then followed up on in class fortnightly. My only issue is that i had a little wait time between my tutor leaving and my new one starting (4-5 weeks) which slightly halted the course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
As said in the previous question my employer give me the free day to study and offer more if I need them leading up to an exam. They also consistently ask me about my workload to see if it ever gets too much which it hasn't.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
My training provider is helpful in giving me resources to study with when I am not on campus which have helped massively leading up to exams. Like I said earlier though I had a decent break in between my last exam and when my new tutor would be starting (4-5 weeks) where the training resources became less helpful as there was no on campus session to follow up on.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The course has helped a lot mainly in understanding terminology and I am hoping the Excel part of my course, which is just starting, will also assist in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes there are many such as sports events during the summer, coffee calls across other sites and health and well being events held on site to name a few.
