To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I thoroughly enjoyed working on site and seeing how flats are built - the different stages that we have to go through. I enjoyed some of the topics learnt during the college side of things as it gave me a good insight into how construction works.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
The main skills I developed is my leadership, management and communication. Working with various site managers allowed me to see what works best and what doesn't. Throughout the program I learnt how to use initiative much more.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Unfortunately for myself and my group, our college learning was affected due to tutors leaving or not being good enough. This meant that we had to play catch-up. Working on site the programme was much more organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I received a lot of support from my employer - if I needed more time to focus on college assignments then they would allow that, even during working hours(on site). Any help I needed with assignments was provided from the appropriate team.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I received a lot of support, especially from two of my tutors. Any help I needed, I just simply asked and they were always happy to have a 1 to 1 session to help me understand topics I was unsure about.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
By learning various topic in construction, it gave me a better understanding of how construction works which I could then apply when working on site. The knowledge I gained from the qualification definitely improved my skills as a site manager.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Throughout my time I've been involved in many social activities that include apprentices. Various fitness activities are provided such as football, going to the gym and yoga. There were some networking events but not many.
