Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I package software, this is by using PSADT. I create the package to run silently with minimal user interaction. I have a queue in SNOW to package software, starting off by testing the source media by installing this on a VM.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I am working & developing my skills in communication, documentation & mainly in PowerShell ISE. New skill development - more like developing skills.

Very well structured. Can't complain about how it is structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am heavily supported by my employer, I am so confident in what I am doing & happy to be doing what I am & encouraged to take the time off to focus on my Apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My Training provider jumps in & sets up a meeting to support very quickly. I am so supported & I have absolutely no complaints.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has helped no end, a lot of the training is transferrable & it has helped me to understand what Project Management does & I am working with a lot of Project Managers.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are quite a few events, however, I don't attend any of them due to having a young family.

Why?
They have helped me become confident & the training I have received has made me more technical & knowledgeable. I love working from Capgemini, I have been here 18 years & on my 2nd year apprenticeship. I love this so much & for the fact I have been here for so long.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
Come & work for us, unlimited amount of free training. Capgemini is all about training & I can't emphasize this enough. I have been here for over 18 years & I have worked in multiple departments & multiple roles Asset Management, Incident Management, Tier 2 & Tier 3 & Acting TL for a year
