little support from apprenticeship leadership a lot of questions are met with answers that often don't massively help or don't give a definitive answer. however support from fellow employees and mentors and site management is excellent they are happy to help and advice with anything

the college, i feel does what it needs to do lessons are given with a good structure and the tutors clearly know what they are teaching.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

the things learnt at college dont always translate to work but that is due to college teaching mostly the theory, where as at work not much theory is really involved at least in mechanical

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Thames Water to a friend?
Yes
Why?
overall it is an enjoyable opportunity and experience, just some times you may feel you need more support or answers from higher up
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Thames Water?
Be prepared to put in time and be ready to not necessarily get al the support from apprentice management you may feel you need, a thick skin helps to deal with some of the lack help and undefinitive answers. but alot of the answers can be provided by people on site alot of my questions have been answered that way.
