Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Organising and monitoring compliance tasks for external parties, drafting NDAs and Release Forms for filming, formatting reports, contract administration, tracker management, general ad-hoc legal research tasks.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
A lot of responsibility is given early on. The more confident you become in the management of the general tasks, the more tasks and responsibility you will be given. The work is meaningful and important for the team and wider business. A lot of exposure is given to the wider business and other teams.

Support and Guidance
How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Everyone is very supportive and happy to arrange meetings so that you can learn more about the business. They run many great buddy/mentor schemes that really help you settle into the role. HR run monthly drop in sessions and overall everyone is very supportive. You have a line manager who is supportive and the wider team are happy to help.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
There are many company-wide events and activities you can get involved in, including pro bono work or volunteering. Great intern events for socializing outside of work and a lot of diversity initiatives. Culture is friendly, supportive and hardworking - being a team player is important. Genuinely enjoyable office atmosphere, lots of laughter and collaboration.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Hugely enjoyable experience, the work was challenging and interesting, the team were supportive, excellent mentors and nice to be around. The culture is brilliant, especially in the office. The role exceeded my expectations and I would definitely return to NBCU.
