Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
From 9 am to 6 pm, we were kept busy with insightful talks and workshops. Different from other open and insight days, Gibson's insight day was truly interactive. The Graduate Recruitment Team designed it specifically so that us first years were able to ask questions to the amazing speakers. This meant that the insight day was tailored to us. Having learned so much in just one day, I strongly recommend applying to attend!
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was very valuable to understand the business and potential roles available. Some very important speakers discussed the stretegy and vision of the firm which is normally something that one can only learn as an insider. Thanks to this insight day, we were able to truly understand the fibres of the business.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
This insight day allowed me to develop my professional skills, in particular networking and asking good questions. It was truly special to interact with the firm's associates and partners and learn about their specific industries. I learned a great amount more about commercial law and better understood Gibson as a firm.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
We learned about some great socials that were planned for members at the firm. Though the speakers had lots of work, they were very attentive to us and their kindness was greatly appreciated.
