Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Insight Day consisted of workshops on commercial awareness and presentations on Gibson Dunn's practices. While the Insight Day was conducted online, the team was successful in creating extremely engaging and interactive sessions.
It also included a partner panel session, a commercial awareness workshop, a Q&A with the firm's trainees and some tips on interviews and application forms as well as how to distinguish between different law firm cultures.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
The Insight Day was supremely helpful as it provided real insight into the working of an international commercial law firm, along with real advice about future applications. I had a fantastic time attending the commercial awareness session and workshop, both of which helped me understand the business context in which law firms operate.

I gained real exposure to Gibson Dunn's practices, their training contract and the nature of work carried out by the firm. I had the fantastic opportunity of understanding how commercial awareness can be developed and how it can be applied in real life situations.
