Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
I do enjoy learning new skills and methods in project management. However, the running of the course could be improved significantly. It seems to be that we are put into break out rooms for large portions of the workshops, our tutors are constantly changing and not communicating with what we have already been discussed. A lot of time is also spent learning about things that are not relevant to our assignments.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have learnt multiple new skills but many of these have been through work rather than the degree itself.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I would say it is poorly organised. The main structure is in place but there have been numerous times where things have gone wrong in a workshop such as the tutor needing me to help him set up the presentation which I believe should be already done. It does sometimes feel like we are put in break out rooms to use up time which then results in the workshop overrunning.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My employer offers me a lot of support and guidance. I have raised numerous issues with them regarding the course which have all been swiftly dealt with. My line manager has also allocated me a mentor who helps me with course related material. My employer also constantly asks me what it is I want to do to either practice what I have learnt or to cover things that is required for the portfolio.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My skills coach is incredibly helpful and has helped me deal with several issues or pointed me in the right direction if he is unable to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I believe the qualification is giving me a base of knowledge in subjects which is then reinforced with in work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are a lot of extra-curricular activities ranging from social/networking events to sports days.
