Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I work on several projects and tasks vary from making little changes on drawings to completely modelling a site or a frame for a structure.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoy my programme. It has a great balance of work life but also socialising within the work place whilst ensuring work gets done to meet standards and requirements.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt lots of new skills when it comes to working on new software but also developed existing skills like initiation and communication

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Really well organised. There are so many people around me day to day that are always willing to support whether that be with actual work, college work, or even help with matters outside of work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Lots of support. There are several other apprentices in my position too so we can all support each other, as well as apprentice programmes that guide us through the years of our apprenticeships, but also lots of support directly from my manager.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive lots of support, with my tutor being open to working extra hours with us to support and help us achieve the right criteria on work.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification doesn't directly relate to the work I do on a daily basis, however it gives me a wider understanding of engineering in general which helps me understand projects I work on and the purpose of different tasks.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, there is plenty. Just in my office alone there are a number of different sports clubs, and every year there is a sports day held at a different place around the UK. There are always social events after work most months and there are loads of professional networking events for apprentices regularly too.
