To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes. I have learnt to use various types of software such as the ability to use CAD. Learnt better communication skills

4/5
Work was a slow start and the University can be frustrating , but this is much improved now

Loads. From various people assigned to me in my department: Line manager, Mentor, Buddy, apprentice lead. JLR Early Careers team who offer support when I don't want to speak to someone internally.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Lecturers are good at responding to questions and everyone has an apprenticeship university tutor who are assigned to keep us on track
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Not everything at university is applicable to work, but it helps develop skills which are - this is the same with any degree
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes - there is a large social network with activities such as karting, summer and winter balls and many more. We are also able to join university societies as a Uni Warwick student

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend JLR to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Excellent support throughout the degree, loads of apprentices are taken on each year, a degree which is applicable outside of JLR and from an excellent Russell Group university and you get to work for a company where you can be proud of the products which are created. (and the pay is excellent for a degree apprenticeship!)
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to JLR?
Don't stress about it too much - there are many other companies out there which also have excellent programmes, and whilst each company has many many applicants, everyone applies to the same places, so your' always competing against the same bunch, which means there =s more places to go round than you first think
