Dental Nurse Review

I assist the dentist and comfort the patient as well as maintaining cross contamination protocols in both surgery and decontamination of instruments.

It is structured very well and I feel I am learning things at a good time to pass this information into my working life. My only feedback would be that I am ahead of my work and feel I would be ready to start my EPA period and qualify, however due to the webinars being weekly and having to attend these I cannot enter this period so I feel I am being slowed down.

My assessor, is so supportive, and makes sure I have work to complete to allow my to close aspects of my course down therefore getting closer to finishing. I feel she always can make time fore me and there is never a rush.

I feel I am supported throughout my whole training course by my assesor.

My course allows me to understand why I am doing certain things in my job, for example the importance of decontamination of instruments, which I am doing in my job, but do not necessarily know why, this is where the course helps as it fills in the gaps in my knowledge.
