Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Running the kitchen following company standards are met. Making sure the team are following company standards. Coaching and training as and when needed on a daily basis to help the flow of the kitchen runs smoothly. Completing food orders and stock counts and ensuring the team are aware of problems that may need addressing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Learning how I can look at things differently that gives me the ability to see things in different ways to achieve a better outcome.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

The importance of communicating correctly to ensure that the right message is portrayed.

It was very well organised and structured that helped me develop new skills.

I received quite a lot of help from my employer
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I received a lot of help from my training provider. Especially overcoming a maths result, which took me quite some time to achieve. But with help and support from my coach the pass I needed was achieved.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It gave me a better understanding of my role as a team leader. To encourage my team on how well they are doing and doing regular reviews with them to help in their development within the team.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

No we don't have at the moment but it's something we can look at in the future.
