Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am given work instructions/engineering drawings and have to create and assemble components made from various types of materials, using different types of tools and machinery
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme, workload is quite high and sometimes difficult to stay on top of, but overall I think the programme is good

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt to stay positive and be resilient, stay patient and also how to operate and use different types of tools and machines

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is not always well organised/structured in some areas, for the most part everything is laid out clear for us to follow, however there can be some days where not everything is well organised
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer, they always reply when there is a problem, however the waiting time can sometimes be quite long
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive support on this end, they aim to help as much as they can and guide us through it, however the work load was set all at once and is difficult to keep up with
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training provider helps us to perform better due to the skills that they teach us within the workshop, helping us to progress further and take on new challenges
