Believe there should be a structure/plan when you begin the on-the-job learning. Line managers and or your teams should have a pre-planned structure of what you are going to learn, or both the training program and the IM should develop an on-the-job training plan which would help the us feel more organized and what we need to learn.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Irwin Mitchell to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Gave an opportunity many other firms would not consider. Helped develop the idea of an office job.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Irwin Mitchell?
Some/most begin the apprenticeship at a young age (18) it can be quite full on jumping straight into a 9-5. Alot of the team have years more experience but do not let that have an effect on the questions you want to ask no matter how silly they may sound. You are young therefore use this as an opportunity to dive into every event/webinar ect you can.
Be prepared to have a mix of work and understand you will get certain tasks wrong but as long as you voice this and understand what steps need to be taken to help correct your work then this shows you are being proactive and acknowledging room for improvements.
