Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Managing the day to day delivery of apprenticeship programmes, up to level 7 masters degree
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Greatly, I feel I have a great deal of autonomy and control over my learning. The feedback I receive from my apprenticeship tutor is also very encouraging and positive

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Absolutely! Critical Thinking, evidence-based decision making, communication, adult learning theories, considerations for learning approaches, project and stakeholder management principles

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well, objective dates are clear and obvious, realistic yet challenging
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Enough, I'm lucky enough to have control of my diary enough to allow me to plan my learning time. My employer/line manager are supportive
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Enough, my meetings with my tutor are frequent enough, usually every 12 weeks to review my progress and learning. I know some providers like to ensure they have more frequent contact with learners, but I'm ok with the support I recieve.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Very well, of course though, with these types of programmes it's important to take ownership of your own learning. My tutor is able to help me put my learning into practice and help me realise what I;m learning, this is important for me
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Not necessarily at work, but my employer allows me to attend events and complete CPD activities when and where required.
