Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The Insight week was filled with exciting sessions, where one had the opportunity to meet various talented people working in different divisions, including Equity Research, Fixed Income and Multi-Assets. Moreover, you get the opportunity to network with current employees whilst gaining insight into their values and, specifically, their significant focus on sustainable investing.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really informative and helped me figure out what roles I may be interested in and how I can potentially prepare and stand out as a candidate for a role. Moreover, it gave me a great overview of how all the teams work individually and together, in order to gain successful results and create a good working environment.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I have definitely learnt new skills as well as improved existing ones. This I felt was quite evident when it came to my presentation and speaking skills as each day we worked with other Spring Interns on small projects and challenges, where we had to present our findings which was also very enlightening. Moreover, I also improved my networking skills.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture and general atmosphere really appealed to me, and all the impressive statements the employees had to say about the company felt very genuine and honest. It seemed like everyone felt like they could make an impact on the decisions and results being made, which really stood out to me.

Overall, I very much enjoyed the Insight Week, and I am very grateful that I got the opportunity to join and learn more about Fidelity International, as well as network with all the other talented Interns.
