Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The programme includes activities which range from informational sessions and skills workshops to business challenges and stock picking.
Gained insight into Fidelity from presentations and networking sessions with professionals.
We also learnt knowledge about Equity Research, Fixed Income and Multi Asset.
Presented on 3 case studies which strengthened research ability and enhanced presentation skills.
Learnt investment related skills - modelling, valuations, Excel, PowerPoint etc on Financial Edge.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
We gained broad exposure to the different roles at Fidelity through Business Overviews and presentations on specific roles by professionals. It was great to hear that graduates can have rotations within the firm which allow them to try out different roles.

Yes, I learnt more about presentation skills, as well as many new technical knowledge.
We also carry on continuous learning with Financial Edge after the 3 days, which allow us to self-learn investment related skills - modelling, valuations, Excel, PowerPoint etc.

The company has a family-like culture. Everyone is valued here. The atmosphere is that everyone is very supportive and encouraging, as well as being much more flexible and understanding.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I enjoyed the insight very much. I learnt a lot about the company structure, culture and career opportunities. I also learnt a lot more technical knowledge. I love working with different people in small groups to create 3 presentations in each day of the 3-day programme. Great experience!!
