Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Assisting with the implementation of the Treasury Management System and other FI Internet banking systems, keeping databases up-to-date. Improving internal processes and liaising with banks on a day-to-day basis, investigating payment errors, management of bank accounts, portals, and currency. Assisting with audits and other ad-hoc projects.

Definitely. My soft and technical skills, such as time management, teamwork, excel, internal systems, and adaptability have all improved significantly. I've become much more confident in my communication skills as well.

Why?
The culture and people are really good, always helpful. The executive is also very active and reachable, you hear from them about any business updates almost every week.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Costain?
Whilst applying, make sure you mention why you're applying at this specific company, what it is about them that you like. For example, the environment is very important for me and so is for Costain which is how we manage to build a conversation.
