Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves anything from replacing components, to rebuilding machinery like pumps and valves. I am also expected to problem solve different scenarios
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i really enjoy the course and I think I am improving a lot as the apprenticeship goes on

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learnt plenty of new skills, mostly to do with engineering in general, and improved on a lot of existing skills like pipework

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

the course could be run a little smoother, the college side gets a bit messy by assessors leaving which means we then need to get used to someone new coming in which makes it a little difficult and also mic ups in communication
How much support do you receive from your employer?

my employer gives me all the support I need and I always have someone I can go to if I need anything
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider gives me a lot of support as well and always helps me if i need it
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

i think there are some aspects to the qualification that the training provider give to help me improve but most of my improving comes from learning on site
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there are extra-curricular activities, however i do not get involved with them
