Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work for cancer services. I track patients on the system, treatments, appointments and creating letters. I work with a lovely team, who I see twice a week. I mostly work at home. I take phone calls from external trusts. I am responsible for a multidisciplinary meeting weekly. I am currently running a project to do with backlog for my apprenticeship.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I very much enjoy my apprenticeship. It is flexible and easy to follow.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt new skills within my team, for example how to use the systems and processes within the NHS, as well as developing my existing skills such as efficient communication and teamwork.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very organised and easy to follow along, It is very structured, it has modules which I can also revisit.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive an abundance of support from my employer, my line manager.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have received a lot of helpful support from my training provider as well as my training coach. She has helped me understand the programme very well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has definitely helped my confidence and knowledge, it has helped me massively and changed how I view my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many extra-curricular activities but I do not attend any.
