Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role was to oversee the specialist hospital clinical group inbox, answer queries direct managers to appropriate teams and resources to help them managing their staff. I overlooked trackers updated this weekly. I directly worked with managers helping them with absence management and factfinding processes. I note taken a lot of investigation, hearings, probationary hearings which gave me an insight to employee relations issues and case work. I delivered training to new managers and educators within the MFT Trust

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
I had one to one meetings with my manager weekly where we went through anything I wasn’t sure about and through this I developed better knowledge of HR. I also had six weeks of coaching one to one with my team where each week I was able to go through aspects of work with my colleagues
