Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
It was a great experience! I received an insight into Fidelity International and the asset management industry. During the insight programme, I networked with different employees in the firm, collaborated with other peers to present to a panel of analysts, listened to presentations from various directors and portfolio managers. Overall, this was very enjoyable and I would recommend this insight programme to any applicant who wants to gain an insight into the asset management industry.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was phenomenal! I was not aware before joining this programme of the range of opportunities in the asset management industry, yet this programme at Fidelity has really opened my eyes to the many different roles available for all graduates in asset management.

Definitely, I have learned new presentation skills and my confidence in myself has skyrocketed since joining this programme. In addition, I developed and consolidated my communication skills and my commercial awareness.

Be curious and be determined. You don't have to have any prior work experience or study Economics, but you do need to demonstrate an interest in finance in your application.
