Work in the transportation unit, primarily providing foundation designs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Can be hard work at times but as a whole enjoyable especially when finishing designs and getting through exams.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed skills on design software as well as my knowledge of engineering.

Day release to university is well structured and some additional time to study can be taken as required.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Study leave available if required to complete university work and more senior members of staff are happy to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Training provider has high expectations of what can be achieved in the day release. Staff are on hand for questions during the lectures but outside of this can be hard to get hold of at times.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Qualification provides the theory behind my role and certain topics help to develop an understanding behind what I do day to day.
