I enjoy it a lot. I look forward to each shift because every day is a different day.

My communication skills have improved massively. My confidence is the highest it’s ever been. I’ve learnt time management.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I get weekly tasks to complete which are easy to understand and have frequent meet ups with my online tutor who also comes in to visit the store.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots. The managers are very helpful when it comes to my apprenticeship and answer any questions I may have about the job itself or the apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots in the meet ups. Every 4-6 weeks we go through everything and anything that I don’t understand is discussed well and in detail so I understand it fully.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think having the qualification will give me the confidence that I know what I am doing within the role when I complete it.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

At work we meet up on some Sundays after work and go for a nice meal.

Don’t feel that you will be left out. At Aldi, we are like a big family and are always helping each other out no matter what the situation is.
