My role is really varied, I send out business-wide communications and support functions within the business on important projects such as change projects.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy the programme, I have learnt so much and it's been so nice to put some of my work efforts back into me - this apprenticeship is something I will be able to take with me wherever I go.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learnt the process behind sending and crafting effective communications as well as using the right communication channel to target different audiences.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Really well structured and organised, the sessions have flown nicely and I have able to use the knowledge that I have learnt almost instantly in my day to day role.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer supports me and understands that I need to take the time out of my working day to focus on my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider has provided me with the most support. They absolutely put my wellbeing at the heart of everything and have really taken care of me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Really well! I have been able to adapt and respond to certain situations at work really well because of the knowledge I have gained from my apprenticeship.

Lots of professional networking events across the group of businesses, a great way to share experiences and knowledge.

Do it! Be yourself - we really support individuality and Travis Perkins is a place that encourages you to completely be yourself. Take the plunge and jump straight in, you will be supported and you will have the opportunity to learn and grow.
