Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Working with clients to deliver Atlassian solutions, maintaining and upgrading AWS infrastructure and configuring the tools to the clients requirements and business needs.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I have enjoyed the programme and have been able to progress nicely

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, plenty of new skills. Atlassian, AWS, DevOps, Agile, Scrum, communication

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
programme has been reasonable well organised from the employer side, the uni side hasn't been a great experience
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Plenty of support from my manager and those around me which definitely helps me to succeed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
lots of support when doing additional qualifications. i'm given time to prepare and go on any courses i think will benefit me
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
after over 4 years, there has been very little connection between the degree i've achieved and the work I do on a daily basis. Would've have liked to have seen more relevant content, maybe some AWS or Azure learning and also real-world business modules that have relevance to real work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
yes plenty of things going on, lots of social events, football kick abouts etc so there's ample opportunities to connect if you want to

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Capgemini to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Capgemini is an enjoyable place to work, all of my colleagues are great people and always make time for a chat and want to help support me through my career. I've been supported and encourage through 4 promotions in my time which just shows that you can truly develop as fast as you want to
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Capgemini?
Just be yourself! Embrace Capgemini's core values and throw yourself at every opportunity that comes your way (I know it's a cliche but it's true)
